Grading Scale:   A >= 90%;   B>= 80%;   C >= 70%;   D >= 60%

Your grade in the course is calculated according to the following ~1,000 point distribution:

  600 points - (60%) - Two Tests and Multiple Quizzes

• Up to ten quizzes (5-15 points) un-announced or announced quizzes, no make-up. Come to class..
• ONE 2 hour (2 day) mid-term test. Make-up test only given with prior notice and documented excuse.
• ONE 2 hour cumulative final test. Make-up test only given with prior notice and documented excuse.

  400 points - (40%) - Assignments: programs and occasional problem sets

• 5 to 10 programs with significant late penalties.
• Points per program vary from 20 to 100+, depending on difficulty.
